Generally speaking - yes! LA Collection operates on an appointment basis to ensure you have the undivided attention of your consultant!

We do welcome walk-ins at most times, dependent on consultant & fitting room availability.

You are welcome to browse the designers we carry which are listed on our website under the ‘Collections’ tab.

Bridal and grad dress sizing differs from everyday clothing sizes. Before ordering a dress, we will take your measurements to determine with you, which size would be best.

Alterations may still be required for a “perfect fit” (at an additional cost).

We will contact you when your dress has arrived in store.

At that time, we can book either a pick up/try on OR alterations with a seamstress.

Yes! We do offer in-house alterations (costs to be determined by seamstress at time of fitting appointment) for dresses purchased from LA Collection.

It is recommended to allot 8-10 weeks for bridal gown alterations, and 5-6 weeks for grad or special occasion gowns prior to your event date.

All outdoor footwear must be removed upon entry. Please remember to bring socks, slippers or indoor footwear. If you are unable to remove your shoes, we do provide shoe covers if necessary.

As per the ‘SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS’ section on your receipt - All dress purchases are FINAL SALE, whether they are ordered or purchased off the rack. We do not offer refunds or exchanges.

We do not offer dress rentals or buy back dresses.

Water is permitted in the store. Other drinks or food brought in must be left at the front desk while browsing the racks - to eliminate possible spills or stains on our dresses.

Yes. We have a large selection of accessories for you to choose from.

Our selection includes jewelry, handbags, wedding gown belts, garters, as well as hair accessories.

Our regular hours are:

Monday & Thursday - 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Tuesday, Wednesday, & Friday - 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Saturdays - 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

**We offer ‘Private Appointments’ for brides on some Sundays (MUST BE BOOKED VIA TELEPHONE - *FEE APPLIES). *We also periodically offer special Sundays - where we are open for GRAD or BRIDAL shopping! (These days will be posted on our website)

Complimentary customer parking is provided in our adjacent parking lot. Parking is also available on the side street (Ashburn St.) - or Portage Ave. (limited hours)

We are conveniently located at 1365 Portage Ave. (One block east of Polo Park at Ashburn St.)

We recommend beginning your dress search 10–12 months before your wedding date. This allows time for ordering, production, shipping, and alterations.

Most bridal gowns take approximately 6-9 months to arrive once ordered. 

Some dresses may be in supplier stock and could come much sooner.

Rush order options may be available depending on the designer.

Yes! All our wedding gowns are available for off-the-rack purchase and can be taken home the same day.

We offer pricing to satisfy any budget - from $500.00 to $5000.00!!

Most grad dresses take approximately 4-6 months to arrive once ordered. This may vary depending on the supplier.

Some dresses may be in supplier stock and could come much sooner.

Our cut-off date for ordering with most grad / prom suppliers is January.

Yes! *Our grad dresses are available for off-the-rack purchase and can be taken home the same day. Past year’s stock is always available to be purchased off the rack, while the new collection is available to be purchased off the rack in January (unless otherwise arranged at your appointment)

We do keep record of dresses that have been purchased at LA Collection. We do NOT have access to records from other stores.

The prices of our grad / prom dresses vary depending on style, fabric, embellishment, etc. They can range in price from $300.00 up to $1000.00… once again - something for every budget!
