Brenda helped me tremendously and was not too pushy like I had experienced at other bridal salons. Their prices are very reasonable and their selection is amazing. I am also going to have my bridal party go and check out a very nice dress we found there that will look great for a summer wedding.
This past summer I was a maid of honour in my friends wedding. I had gone to LA Collection a few years ago when I was married, so I told my friend that she really should go look there as well. As soon as we got to the bridal salon we were greeted and helped right away. We found her wedding dress as well as our bridesmaid dresses. The dress colours turned out great, exactly the colours the bride wanted. My sister is now getting married and we will be going to look at dresses one day soon, I hope that the service is the same as I have experienced! That makes all the difference when you are buying something that means so much to a girl on such an important day, and I have only yet experienced that at LA Collection.
L.A. Collection Review : ____ Hey ladies (and gentlemen?)! ....... As I'm sure you all know, or are soon to find out, shopping for bridal apparel is REALLY HARD!!! So many different stores, styles, colours, prices... trying to imagine what you will look like in any one of a million dresses crammed onto a thousand racks, usually NOT in the colour you're looking for... it's enough to make your head explode.......... This afternoon, my soon-to-be-married friend, Nikki, and I went looking for my "best lady" dress (as we like to call it). We were planning to go to the store where she originally bought her dress, but were side tracked by a quick stop in LA Collection, which happened to be on the way........... At first I was a little weirded out by having to take my shoes off- but apparently this is normal- and to be totally honest, they were killing my feet anyway... So down the stairs we went, and were greeted by a SEA of different dresses... holy ****! That is what I call "selection" - albeit a little overwhelming! WHERE TO BEGIN!? .......... Thankfully, after a little looking around, our sales girl, Brenda, came to save the day. Adorable, friendly, and most importantly- with not a single idea in mind of what I was even beginning to look for, she was able to pick out The Perfect Dress- beautiful shape and colour, very flattering, reasonably priced, and in a style that I can definitely see myself using again (thank god!). .......... Nikki has already purchased her dress- and was actually a little disappointed she hadn't been to LA C. before. She said the prices at LA C. were HUNDREDS of dollars cheaper than the other stores she'd been in- and the customer service was soooo much better. PLUS! I found a gorgeous hair clip to go with my dress for ONLY THIRTY DOLLARS!!! Incredible, one of a kind, silver with rhinestones in this beautiful side-sweeping piece that will look soooooooo pretty in my up-do :) That description really doesn’t do it justice, but take my word for it: it is going to MAKE my outfit. .......... SO in summary, I hope that after reading this, you make your first stop LA Collection before going anywhere else. You won't be disappointed! And ask for Brenda- she was awesome!!!.......... I had been to a few different bridal salons and tried on many different wedding gowns before I went to LA Collection, which was referred to me by my sister-in-law. She told me that I had to go check it out because they had such a huge selection of bridal gowns, as well as bridesmaid dresses. I was so impressed when I first walked in to LA Collection. First of all, I was so happy when I tried on my first dress because the dressing rooms are huge! If you've ever been to one of those salons that cram you into your fitting room with 5 or 6 dresses, there is absolutely no room to move. With LA Collection that was totally the opposite. There was so much room and they have 2 separate fitting areas on opposite sides of the salon, which was great (just in case there is more than one person trying on dresses - you don't have to share a mirror). I had such a fabulous time trying on different wedding dresses. The staff was so helpful! I didn't feel pressured or rushed to purchase a dress, even though my wedding was coming up shortly. And I wanted their honest opinions of how the dresses looked on me, and they were completely honest, which I appreciated. I had tried on about 10 dresses when I decided I wanted to try the dress that was on the mannequin. I totally fell in love with it! And it was within my budget! I also purchased my tiara and my jewellery from LA Collection, which went just perfectly with my dress. Since the prices were within our budget, I decided that the bridesmaids should look for their dress at LA Collection as well. The only thing I told them was that the dress had to be black and everyone had to like it! So they all picked out a few styles to try on and we were all so happy with the dress they chose. The dress looked fabulous on all my bridesmaids! I am so thrilled that I walked into LA Collection that day and found the dress that made me feel like a princess! What can I say, walking into L.A. Collection was one of the best decisions I made in my wedding planning. I want to say a big THANK YOU to you guys for all your support, ideas and patience. It left a print in my heart and obviously in my wedding. I got and I still get so many comments on my dress. I know that picking a lovely dress that made me look this good would have been impossible if I did it by myself. At a point, I showed up in the store almost every lunch break I had because I was undecided about a number of things but yet I was greeted with a smile all the time and the attention given to me was so focused. I was blown away. There was never any pressure or false smiles and comments to get me to make any decision. They gave me tips on every last detail on my wedding wardrobe, dress ideas for the bridal train, hair, etc. Indeed there was genuine concern. They also gave me good referrals for stuff they don't carry. Honestly, it was like having a volunteer wedding planner. The prices were great and fit right into my budget. All this support was extra helpful because although I live in Winnipeg, I was planning for my wedding which would take place in Africa.
Immediately upon entering L.A. Collection, we knew we would be taken care of. I had made the mistake of leaving things longer Than necessary and with just over a month before my wedding, I still hadn't purchased the shirts for the groomsmen. Luckily a few shirts that were in stock fit, but 3 shirts needed to be special ordered. L.A. Collection got the shirts in with time to spare and they fit perfectly. Price was excellent, but the service is what will keep me coming back and recommending L.A. Collection to my friends. Thanks to the staff

Collection was on top of the list for dress shops that I knew I wanted to visit. My initial visit to your store thrilled me because of the awesome selection of beautiful dresses that you carried, and the wonderful level of service you offered me. On my special day not any dress would do; I felt so comfortable and confident that I would find my dream dress at L.A. Collection. It did not take me long to discover that you had exactly what I was looking for in my wedding gown. The staff at L.A. Collection did a wonderful job taking me around their enormous selection to pick out some gowns to try on. They were very helpful and patient with me as I tried on several gowns. Finally, the last gown I tried on struck me like destiny. I knew immediately that I was wearing the gown I was to be wed in. From my initial visit to my purchase and alterations the people at L.A. I couldn't believe I could fall in love with sooo many dresses. She was extremely helpful and before I knew my mom and I had fallen in love with an incredible dress, which was way... below the budget I had told her (usually bridal shops try to sell you the most expensive one). If you are looking for someone who genuinely loves her job and knows her stock ,then you should absolutely go to LA Collection and look for Shelly, I cannot praise her enough!

I felt just like a princess! Although 2 other girls had the identical dress-(we each had it in a different color - so really they didn't look that much alike) I must say that the pineapple color of my dress was much more elegant than the other colors. Love LA Collection____ Hi everyone! Just wanted to share my experience with LA Collection. I had been to Helene's earlier in the day and had fallen in love with a dress, but found the woman very pushy and didn't want to buy from her. A few other shops didn't bother to even offer me help, and on a whim we stopped at LAC before heading ut for lunch. When we got to LAC, Brenda greeted me and was a joy to work with! Brenda was the only person all day that did not give me a veil "just for fun", when I made it clear I did not want one. And the only one who didn't try and make me teeter on heels when I'm getting married on a Jamaican beach! She was the only person to even offer me a flower-hairpiece, which I fell in love with. And boy was I excited to find the dress $115 cheaper than Helene's. I wasn't planning to buy my dress that first day looking, but Brenda made it so easy and it felt right! RE: Love LA Collection ________ I'm not big on trying dresses on and got very nervous when it came time to go shopping. My first stop was LA Collection. Brenda gave me a hand and made me feel so calm. She actually pulled out the dress that I later bought. I mean WOW I found the dress was calm and even had some fun. All and all I only tried on 3 dresses and had planned to spend most of the day walking around finding a dress I like. The price was unbelievable too! Now well over a few months later I went back to look at hair pieces like clips and tiaras, Brenda remembered me and the dress. It was so easy! RE: LAC - A Great Experience ___ The first shop I went to was Helens and I really did not like the pushy experience I encountered. I did find a Beautiful dress there, but i just didnt like the service at all. The next stop was LA Collection what a relief, we walked in the store and didnt get "attacked". Brenda came over asked us if she could help us, we explained what happen at Helens and she was more then happy to help us when we needed it, she didnt "jump" on us. Brenda also was able to find the same dress that i was looking at over at Helens. I just want to take the time to Thank Brenda for all the help she offered and the opinions she gave. Hi Yen and Brenda, I’m back from Vegas and I just wanted to share some pictures with you. My dress was stunning and I got a lot of compliments on it. Weather was surely hot but that didn’t stop me from flaunting my beautiful attire. Thanks again for all your help in finding the perfect dress for my destination wedding. L.A. Collection- Fabulous Dresses, Fabulous Service_____ I purchased a gorgeous princess like wedding dress from LA Collection during the beginning of my wedding planning. My girlfriends and I had a blast trying on dresses at the store. The gals were friendly, very helpful and knowledgeable about their merchandise. A few months later, our wedding plans completely changed and we decided to have a destination wedding in Vegas. I told them about our situation and although I loved the dress I already bought, it just wouldn't fit with the humid weather we knew to expect down south. I wanted something more simple, something that wouldnt be a hassle to travel with. They were very understanding and did whatever it took to help me find the perfect dress in the few months we had left. I also gained a connection with Brenda, a wonderful associate whom we have a lot in common. At the end of all my trying on dresses I could not decide between two so I asked her to write the style number down and the designer just so I could think about which one I like more. She suggested when thinking about which dress to pick-think about how I want to look on my wedding day and which dress represents me the best and how I want to feel in it. The only problem is I can't make up my mind, they are both so beautiful in their own ways.

LA Review __ L.A. Collection Our experience with the bridesmaid dresses at LA was ok, not terribly bad, but not pleasant either. Of my four bridesmaids that bought their dress here one altered it herself, one had a very unpleasant experience and the other two were ok. One of my bridesmaids is very tall and after alterations her dress ended up being visibly short. They didn’t warn us of this or even consider height when doing the measurements. The other two were ok with the experience but did have to come back for 3 alteration appointments. In the end everyone’s dress fit and looked great on them, on time!
Great! Vendor_____ After having a great experience purchasing my Graduation dress several years ago at LA Collection, they were the first place I went for my wedding dress this year. Although they did not have any of the dresses I brought in (pictures from american magazines. i did not expect them to have identical dresses), they were able to pick out the perfect dresses in a similar style! In fact, I had the HARDEST time deciding from the first 2 I tried on. Also, although my dress budget was quite a bit higher, both dresses came in at only $700! I could not find anything similar at any other stores under $1000! A++ customer service!

Amazing Service ____ Just wanted to let everyone know that I went shopping at L.A. Collection and had the most amazing service. This experience was everything I thought it would be! LA Collection Review _________ I just want to say that I had a great experience at LA Collection and would recommend it to any bride. They were very helpful and their gowns are less expensive than other salons that I've visited even for the exact same wedding gown! The staff is very friendly and not pushy at all. I thought this would be a perfect time to see which Bridal store I’d like to go to buy my wedding dress. I had already been to 5 bridal stores. It was a Saturday, and none of the other shops would give me the time of day (I know it was just shoes, but it would still be a sale, not to mention they all knew I hadn’t gone wedding dress shopping yet!) The service at LA Collection was so great; I decided to go back there for my wedding dress shopping. They even take appointments on Saturdays! When I got there two weeks later, Shelly was so attentive, helpful and friendly. When we pointed out what we liked about each dress (or what we didn’t like) she was on the ball and got me another dress that fit our description. The dress was perfect! I can’t wait till it comes in 4-6 months! Thanks Shelly!

It just didn't really wow me, it was ok, but I knew it wasn't the one. So a few days later I ventured into LA alone and ended up dealing with Brenda and she was awesome! She gave me 3 dresses and the 2nd one I tried on was the one, I loved it. I went back with my Mom later that night and bought it. Brenda and all the staff there have been awesome, we have been back so many times and they are awesome every single time. We also just decided on bridesmaid dresses from there as well. This is my daughter Kaleena's wedding. We planned the wedding in five weeks because of her serious health condition. Shelly was amazing in finding the perfect dress for her. She also found myself the blue dress and another one for the groom's mother. We went in to your store with other dresses in mind but Shelly knew exactly what we needed to look fantastic for my daughter's perfect fairy tale wedding. Alterations were done in record time and the veil and tiara finished off the look. Dear Yen, I just wanted to thank you again for the wonderful service I received when I was shopping for my wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses at LA Collection. I was thrilled that we were able to find my wedding dress. the bridesmaid dresses and we even found a dress for the mother of the bride too. All of this in one day too! We had received awesome service for my sisters wedding in August of 2006 so we knew we had to go back again for my wedding! Our wedding was on Saturday, May 16th, 2009. I know it's risky doing outdoor pictures on the Saturday of the May long weekend but it couldn't have worked out better. My dress was perfect and the black bridesmaid dresses looked so elegant with the red flowers. Most of our pictures were done outside at the Morris Fire Department with the fire trucks for backround. My husband is a volunteer fire fighter there. Having the red trucks behind us with my white dress and everyone else wearing black and holding red flowers looked amazing. It was exactly what I was wanting. I am involved with two more weddings coming up, August 2010 & August 2011 and will make sure we come back to see you! Thanks again for everything!

Shelly at L.A. Collection-Perfection!___ I bought my wedding dress at L.A. Collection a few weeks ago with the help of Shelly. I did not feel any pressure to purchase, the help was top-notch (especially compared to some other bridal shops I had visited), and they really make sure they find something that fits your budget. Shelly really helped my feel comfortable with the decision I was making. This past weekend, my bridesmaids and I hit L.A. Collection to look for bridesmaids dresses, and we found exactly what we were looking for within their budgets. They made it about as good of an experience as I hoped for.

I was in your store yesterday with my mother and two bridesmaids and we had Kelly working with us to find me a wedding gown. It was our first stop of many more that day, and although we found a dress at a different store, I just wanted to say THANK YOU to Kelly for such fabulous service! She was fun, friendly, knowledgeable and I couldn't have asked for a better first experience in wedding dress shopping. We did find some places in the city later that day with horrible service, which just made us appreciate what Kelly and your store did for us all the more! And if you can pass this along to her, tell her that I STILL think about that "sexy dress" with all the beading; it was beaI utiful but we actually decided against the cream/ivory in our wedding colours... Anyway, I was thrilled with my experience and with working with Kelly and I will DEFINITELY be spreading the good word about LA Collection for years to come. Thank you very much. Excellent experience at L.A.. Collection - _____ Brenda was absolutely amazing! Being a bigger, tomboyish gal that hasn't worn a dress in ages, I was very anxious about going dress shopping. She was very down to earth, helpful and honest and made this a lot easier than I had anticipated. Thank you for all of your help! I highly recommend this store!
